Okay, sorry, one more request...not all of us are stalkers, what about a dreaming section?

Many thanks.

I beleive that there is a Dreaming section, but it appears to be a *locked section* perhaps it is for special people or for some sort of group within a group kind of thing...

Its not a very open Forum, regardless of how one signature's *love and blessings* at the bottom of each post.

There are many closed doors here. Doors relate to Dreaming specifically and while there is use in not having all doors open, if one is stating open connectivity one should align their actions to that...

As far as having an introduction section Raine, I noted that your question wasn't answered about having a section for introductions. One wonders why there isn't a place for an introduction already. Sheri seems to look at things a little wonkey. Too much personal agenda if you ask me. If she was able to answer your very simple and direct question with a very simple and direct answer she would have done. But she projected a *warm welcome* over what you were asking.

In my view, this is a mask.

Do they want to see and hear about your *dream* or are they just here to let your read about theirs?

Actually Dreaming happens all over, so there is no need to make the closed doors. Whether we are *discussng the dreams we have had* or simply present here posting we are Dreaming regardless.

The dream is taking place right here and right now.

What I have found in Sheri's approach is that she projects closed doors onto people who don't seem to fit into her mental mold of how someone should be. But don't let my conclusions on this dissapointing experience cloud you, find out for yourself. Jump in with attention & kindness by all means...

Dear Raine,

The Dreaming section of this forum is for my apprentices that have been studying with me for many years. They post related to the work they are doing and so that section is password protected. That name is what we chose to call that section.
The section is not about what we do at night - in other words it is not about posting about your normal dreams - it is about the process of gettting control of your dreaming whether it be your day dream or your night dream - it is all the same.

Blessings, Sheri

Does this mean...

Yes there is a dreaming section, but it is not open for everyone, only *my* apprentices?

Access aside Sheri,

Could you say briefly what the main dreaming task is of your forum?

Dan.

Dear Daniel,

For me Dreaming is a technique that enables us to change our ordinary dream of non-awareness into one of awareness by the purposeful and controlled use of our attention.
Or to quote Castaneda - since these words are to the point: The art of dreaming is the capacity to utilize one's ordinary dreams and transform them into controlled awareness by virtue of a specialized form of attention called the dreaming attention. - from The Eagle's Gift
The tasks always change - you could say they are homework assignments as the result of each subsequent workshop. In the end they always involve attention as for me that is the way we create our dream of reality. Some tasks may be seemingly mundane and involve activities taken at work, in relationship with others or family members, and some are more shamonic in nature and involve practice in merging with the Infinite. Some involve working with the day dream and others with our night dream. So folks post their experiences, challenges and questions to each other. Moreover the process involves intense honesty, one of the things the human ego mind runs exceptionally short of.
Keeping the section private to apprentices only allows people to share their process without the commentary and judgment of folks who have many opinions but no personal experience.

Blessings, Sheri

Yes, I see your perpose in that now. Thanks for answering honestly. I also now agree that you should keep this section locked.

I have been on forums where people were developing their dreaming awareness and were expressing their descriptions of this but were simply judged and belittled by many critical personas that only logged on to give a verdict on someone's shortcomings.

I know you are doing good work here.

Hi Sheri,

Thanks for responding.

My question came purely as a result of my struggling to shape my posts in a way that fit within the pre-existing section descriptions, and not finding a section or description that fit the any of the things I would post or am working on. sad.gif

I have no issue with you having a private section, and in fact both understand and support it...it wasn't even on my mind when I asked.

I am likewise familiar with your use of the word "dreaming"...and while I am not an apprentice of yours, do actually work on changing my daily dream (I suspect many that read your work and visit your website are as well)...which is, which was, the impetus for my request. It just seemed odd to me that you had a "stalking" section, and sections that seem very oriented to stalkers, and thought you (hoped you) would consider creating space for those of us who are more dreamer-oriented.

But that's ok, don't worry about it, I understand. I probably shouldn't have asked anyways (opens mouth first, thinks later). I certainly didn't want or intend to offend you, or to give you the wrong impression. I'm sorry. I appreciate the work you do and gift your book to people whom are new to and interested in learning more about Toltec Wisdom.

Sheri,

Would it be of benefit opening a section, just like the Stalkers section, for Dreaming? For Dreamers that are not within your apprenticeship dream to connect the river of their Dreaming Awareness?

The flight is made from intent and intent must be generated by the Dreamer's Awareness or there simply is no dream. The dream scenery vanishes.

Great, perhaps you'll have an inner-dream (generated by the intent and collective love of your apprentices) as well as an outer dream (shaped by any who tred around the circumfrence of the outside)
