Sheri
Rosenthal DPM is devoted to sharing in a practical
way, the wonderful esoteric teachings from the Toltec
tradition. Using her unique background she transforms
these teachings into clear concepts peppered with wry
humor and lots of love! She delights in bringing forth
these teachings and watching people transform before her
eyes.
It is her pleasure to bring
you the Toltec teachings in a most up to date, clear and
pragmatic fashion. Bringing these esoteric teachings forth
in a way that we can incorporate them into our busy lives
is the key to this process - especially since very few
of us are likely to live in a monastery.
Sheri's personal adventure
began some nine years ago when she was going through
a challenging time in her life. She realized on some level
that she had never been truly happy in her life. After
changing husbands, cities, podiatric practices and friends,
she still had no real joy in her life. A leap of faith
was the last resort. The practice and home were sold and
the residency program she was director of was closed.
Everything she owned went into storage or was sold.
During this time she received
a copy of don Miguel's book The Four Agreements®
in her soft covered book club. She saw there
was a spiritual journey to the sacred site of Teotihuacán
coming up and she figured traveling there would solve
her problems - so to speak! The journey was profound and she
discovered there wasn't anything outside of herself that
needed changing at all - instead it was what she believed
about herself and her world that needed changing! It was the first time she
saw herself as a reflection of the divine and she realized
her pain stemmed from her basic lack of self love and
a whole lot of limiting beliefs.
The most important thing that Sheri has learned
on her journey is that everyone has the same opportunity
for transformation; it just takes discipline, will, courage,
persistence and a whole lot of self love!
Sheri
is now a Master Toltec Teacher trained by don Miguel Ruiz,
the author of "The Four Agreements®" and has apprenticed
with him for the past 9 years. She was a Podiatrist for
16 years in her pre-Toltec days and the director of a
surgical residency program. From 2000 to 2002 she acted
as Executive Director of Sixth Sun Foundation, a Toltec
non-profit corporation. There Sheri had the opportunity
and privilege to design and run don Miguel Ruiz's power
journeys, and co-teach with him at his workshops. Sheri is passionate
about spiritual journeys and is owner of Journeys of the Spirit® (www.journeysofthespirit.com)
a tour company that specializes in adventures that open
the heart and heal the mind.
Over the past years Sheri
has had profound experiences that
have ripped the structure of her life apart and changed
the way she sees this reality. It is her goal to share
the possibilities of that reality and the light of the
divine to all those she meets. Participating in the active
creation of the dream of heaven on earth is her idea of
personal freedom.
